I am always on the lookout for unique gifts and stocking stuffers for the women in my life. I am delighted that I stumbled upon, not by accident mind you, this fabulous shoppe on Etsy. The name of the shoppe is Sweet Candy Melts and they specialize in wax melts. She sent me three melts to try and they are phenomenal. Let me tell you more about them…
This begins with mouth-watering top notes of juicy orange, lemon, and maraschino cherries; followed by tangy pineapple, acai berry, and sea spray; well rounded with base notes of sweet coconut, vanilla rum, and fresh ozonic notes.
The cherry scent is the star of this wax melt. It is strong but not overpowering. I can imagine melting this on a warm spring day while I lounge on the couch reading. The melt itself is pretty generous in size and I cut it half and got two uses from it. when it is melting the scent is not as strong but still very noticeable and wafted throughout my house nicely.
A sensual floral accord of African violets and lily of the valley, complimented by slight hints of kiwi, lime, and grapefruit..
This melt was my favorite. It is so light and Summery and is the perfect gift for your child’s teacher right before Summer break. Just break off a square and be transported to a beautiful tropical beach even on the coldest Winter day. While melting this wax melt the scent was so light but lasted for hours.
Notes of Italian bergamot, eucalyptus leaves, citrus zest, and French lavender; followed by middle notes of lily of the valley, and clary sage; sitting on base notes of Nordic pine, cool camphor, and clove buds.
Aren’t these the cutest wax melts you’ve ever seen?! Lavender is one of my go to scents. I have lavender essential oil by my bed and in my bag. It helps me relax and keeps me calm. That is why I was over the moon excited to see a lavender melt. Besides being cute they smell amazing. The scent is not at all overpowering and it also lasted a fairly long time.
